Basic Preparation

Follow these helpful hints to ensure optimal flavor from your Kramarczuk's sausages.

Precooked & Smoked Sausages

Most of our sausages are precooked or smoked, so they only need to be reheated.  Browse below for helpful hints.

Boiling

1.) Bring water to boil in desired size pot.*

2.) Turn down the heat so that the water begins to simmer.

3.) Place sausages in water for 15 minutes.  Do not cover.

Grilling

Place sausages on grill for approximately 3 minutes on each side.

Microwaving

Place sausages on microwave-safe plate and heat each one for 15-20 seconds

Raw Sausages

(Fresh Ukrainian, Fresh Italian, Fresh Brats)

1.) Bring water to boil in a reasonably sized pot.*

2.) Place raw sausages in pot and allow to par boil for 20 minutes.

3.) Heat a frying pan coated with butter or cooking spray.  Place boiled sausages on pan and brown both sides.

*Note: water should completely cover sausages, so the pot used must sufficiently hold the sausages and water.

•Krakowska and smoked Ukrainian may be eaten cold without any preparation.
